Good move for him and us (not signing him) maybe they'll pass on freeman now

Why is it a good move for us not to sign him?

Because he doesn't fit the west coast offense and we want Brennan to start ASAP, and leftwich would block him from doing so..that's why

They were interested to bring Leftwich in as #2 back-up, I'm pretty sure that means Zorn (or Vinny & Snyder) doesn't believe that Brennan is ready to be #2 yet..

But once again, experience is best teacher..

Or it means they don't like Collins in this system and leftwich is good and young and may fit in the west coast and they want Brennan to be starter for when they deal Campbell for a second round pick, which they have tried to do (rumored during cutler deal)

Dude, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but like Matty said in earlier post - Brennan ain't gonna start.. He might rise within few years, who knows but there is no way he could become starter this year or next year.. Don't get me wrong, Brennan did well in preseasons but that was against 3rd stringers (like Brennan is).. Although I do believe that he does have abilities to be good #2 QB in future but not #1..

I beg to differ about 2010. Campbell is gone if he doesn't produce or improve significantly. As a starter he is naturally going to ask for a raise come renewal time and I am not sure the Danny is going to respond with his wallet wide open for a guy that just might not be able to get the job done. If he did, do you think he even would have made a serious bid for Cutler? And don't give me that BS about how things are just peachy keen at Redskins Park either. Like photos, actions speak thousands of words!!!!! Snyder wanted Cutler and deemed the cost as being too much. JC must step it up period now or go bye bye, but he needs his support group to get their shit together as well. Will be an interesting blog experience in here during the season that is for sure!!!!!!!!

The only thing that is going to keep Campbell from starting this whole year is injury. Brennen will never see the field.
