ESPN radio claims to have some Favre..........sightings leaving for and returning the Minneapolis area.........

I'm just going off memory, and someone fill me in, but wasn't the argreement with the Jets conditional that he NOT go to Minnesota? If he did the Jets would forfeit either more picks, or higher picks? Does this even apply after his release?

Best I know, the agreement was that they would not trade him. Now that he was on their roster, and then retired, and now released, apparently it does not. There was probably some provision that he had to play x number of games as a NYJ or something like that.

Yeah, I think the clause was for the Jets not being able to trade him to Minny.

I'd love to see him play in Minnesota. I wanted that to happen last year because they are so QB deficient.

That storyline is good too having him go to one of GB's archrivals. I like it.
