Well let's see. Thomas is hurt. Kelly may not see the field for the second year in a row, Randle-El is a marginal #3, Thrash shouldn't be on the roster, I don't even know the name of the other guy who just signed and Hackett and Washington aren't on the roster.

Unless you are calling for that white guy who dropped everything for a couple of pre-seasons how is it not an upgrade?

They both need to grow a pair and step up. Now I know why we trade our 2nd round picks every year.

O.k. how about they aren't good enough or they don't produce enough or they aren't healthy enough. Maybe not super smart enough or core Redskin enough?

Take your pick.

I do like what we're seeing here...fishing for WRs looking to prove themselves, make a comeback and whatnot. I figure this is pure Zorn and it's encouraging. Still, i think so much rests on DT, though it's understandable there's differing opinions on his potential and what makes for reasonable expectations. Devin is athletic like Moss but possesses superior physical gifts...what he needs to develop are the intangibles like route running and creating separation on gameday. Oh yeah, good hands lol...it's easy to forget all our WR need to work on catching the ball. But seriously, Devin is my candidate for exciting breakout player of the year of offense.

Me too. I have already been (prematurely) imagining DT taking it to the house again and again.

It'd be pretty cool to get K. Washington... went to high school with him and his older brother was a good buddy of mine. I remember ESPN nick'd him "The Future" in his junior year article. Had a neck injury that kept him out of the first two rounds...

I wouldn't mind at all if Hackett or R Williams were our #3 or even #2 if they prove to be the best. These guys are only 27/28 so they could give us a couple good years and let Thomas and Kelly grow a little more or not have to push it if they're not healthy. They're only 22 so there's no need to rush em all long as they work hard and keep getting better.

I believe Thrash is going to be let go. Possibly even Randel El. M. Kelly is in line for the chopping block also if he doesn't show some kind of improvement instead of just hanging around for knee surgeries. Take alook at all the WR's we have brought in. There is definitely an interest to replace more than one rostered WR. We drafted one, and brought in several undrafted WR's. We also brought in a few experienced veterans to try out for WR. Common sense tells you that the writing is on the wall for those WR not producing. Noone is safe...

ARE isn't going anywhere. Cutting him would create a cap hit of over $13M.

Kelly probably isn't going anywhere either unless he has some sort of career ending injury. It's way too early to give up on him.

There's nothing to take away from the WRs that have been signed. They are camp (no)bodies with the hope that maybe one of them steps up and sticks as a #4 type.

That makes no sense. Giving Campbell some warm bodies to throw to while most of our WR squad rests up for June?

Would you rather have him throwing to coaches and trainers? He's go to throw to somebody.

Guys like Roydell Williams and Trent Shelton aren't being brought in to shake up the WR corps. Talk about something that makes no sense.

C'mon Matty! That was sarcasm at it's finest.

I really can't stress how baffling this mentality is to me. You don't give up on young players after one injury. He has done the things necessary (microfracture surgery) to correct it and now give the kid a chance to perform in camp before ending his tenure with the team.

Some of you guys whine like little b*tches about not building thru the draft and trading away draft picks and blah blah blah but are so quick to pull the trigger on one of those draft picks after one season and one partial offseason. Amazing.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman
