I guess Williams star got tarnished for me when he first couldn't find a way to implement Arrington (pre and post injury) and stubbornly stuck with stiffs like Warrick Holdman and also how he completely misjudged Pierce and we let him go to a division rival where he has owned us. He just seemed to be more hype than anything. His defenses never excelled in two key areas I judge a defense on, sacks and turnovers. The bend but don't break philosophy he (and Blache for that matter) employs is a recipe for disappointment in close games or vs. elite offenses.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Nice post Pain . As far as Arrington , very few coaches could get much out of him , he has made the comments that M. Lewis / Paterno did not know how to use him , yet they both have repeatedly gotten great production from far less talented men at LB over many years . I just hope like hell we sack Eli 5 or 6 times and pick him off as we stomp them on opening day !
