Re: The Vick Factor
The one thing I feel fans are neglecting to see is that he went to jail, all his past friends jumped ship on him and the effect that will have on him as a person. My initial thoughts are that he is probrally more spiritual than before and is surrounded by a stronger cirlce of people. 3 years ago Vick was the most athletic player in the league and one of three faces for the NFL. People make mistakes, and we would be picking him up to play football and win games, not run for public office.
Last year everyone said that Hall was such a douche but all he seemed to do for the skins was make plays and keep his mouth shut. Randy Moss had trouble before going to the Patriots, so did Corey Dillion. This is a no brainer from a football standpoint, from a revenue standpoint, talent standpoint and a publicity standpoint. I never remember Vick ever calling out his teamates or throwing them under the bus.
