i'd LOVE to se MW brought back and Orakpo put where he's supposed to be... right in front of him.

That's what I'm hoping to see by the beginning or ending of the camp.. I have feelings that Marcus will perform better than we thought he would for two reasons.. One, he has a chip on his shoulders, to prove people wrong that he can still play.. Two, he has been working out with same doctor Ryan Clark used when he had his spleen removed and Redskins chose to let him walk.. And now look how Clark is doing at Steelers, he compliments Polumanu (sp?) well..

Curious about where u got the digs on MW gridiron...

I think the conventional wisdom is the longer we go the less likely Marcus' return is. I'm holding out hope anyway but what u said above seems pretty encouraging on top of everything else.

My intuition is Marcus makes a better SLB than anyone else on the roster at this point...i doubt that changes before the season.

Why would you want an aging CB coming in to block Barnes and Tryon's developments?

No Job is promised in the NFL, I don't care if you were drafted by us or not... who ever will help us win... Development is what the practice squad is for.

And Law will be able to cover many WRs? I highly doubt it, and the fact of his availability in the market proves my point..

Yes, but smart teams also develop their young player, and giving them the opportunity to play in real games (instead of practice) is the best development a player can get. Besides, our CB unit is pretty solid right now, why bring in an aging player to the mix? I don't think anyone is handing Barnes or Tryon a starting spot, but they should see action in the defensive rotation this year, and bringing someone like Law would hinder that.

Exactly and I love Gibbs as much as most of the next guys, but the plug in old guys who might be able to do it now approach did set us back.

I certainly wouldn't keep Tryon over a proven CB who would play for cheap. I am excited about Barnes but just because you draft someone shouldn't guarantee a roster spot if a FA would make you better. When you are 8-8 every starting spot should be open.
