I picked RT. I know Heyer has been named starter but they didn't hire MW to simply see if he could be a story book and with Buges I think they want him to start if he can. The sad fact is I'm happy we finally have more Lineman on both sides in case of injuries but we can't keep them all. Then I like all the new WR talent but again we can't keep them all. I'm excited to see all the RB's and hope one of the faster guys; Dorsey, Alridge can beat out either Rock or Betts, but again we can't keep them all. There's a lot of nice talent so I know I will be upset with some of these guys being let go whether they are Vets or Rookies. |

Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009
I said RT. I pray that this is correct.
I think that receivers may sort themselves out in terms of clearly different levels of performance for the most part. I pray that at RT everyone will have performed quite well, making them to be about equally good, thus making the decision for the week 1 start a difficult one. If this situation occurs, RT will not be the problem that many fear.

lol based on what? Camp hasn't even started yet, I'm not sure we can pencil anyone in at the #5 spot just yet.

Jaison,Marko and Roydell were said to be the front runners for the spot. Jaison is gone and Marko is big,can stretch the field and has caught everything thrown his way. Roydell?? Yeah thats just what we need, ANOTHER WR coming off of season ending injury. COMEON MAN!! Last edited by SmootSmack; 07-24-2009 at 12:01 PM. |

Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009
Last I heard from anyone inside Redskins Park (and I think this was a Stan Hixon interview), Roydell Williams is the front runner for #5 spot right now...though ultimately I think it won't be him

Just checked out some video on Roydell Williams, this guy has a knack for getting open, has decent speed and can catch. Hope he makes it on as the 5th reciever... |

Re: Best Training Camp Battle of 2009
If I were to bet, I'd bet Roydell ends up at #5.
