I would struggle w/this one if I were in the Jets fo, cause there are rb's galore these days
. The talent level from rounds 1-5 every year isn't that much of a gap. There are only a couple really special guys, like A. Peterson, but other than that I'd be uncomfortable if I were gm giving a rb a lot of $. (btw, Love CP but he is overpaid by market standards!)
Yeah, but there aren't running backs galore who are as dangerous in both the running game AND return game as Leon. He's the best return man in the AFC (and not too far behind Hester for best in the game), plus he's a threat to take it to the house out of the backfield every time he touches it. He might be the best player on the Jets. He definitely was last year anyway. I'm not suggesting he get top 5 RB money, but they need to pay him nicely IMO, and soon.

Punt return, maybe..but I'd take Joshua Cribbs over Leon anyday of the week on kick offs. The dude is seriously breathing down Hester's neck.

Actually, Washington had more total kick return yards and a better average on kickoff's than Cribbs.

Although one guy I did forget about in the return game is Leodis McKelvin. Kid was nasty last year.

Hmmm...stats are pretty close, but I'd still take Cribbs. Besides he's a local boy.
