2005 Season Opponents

In addition to the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants, we will again be playing the Bears, Bucs, and 49ers. We'll also be playing the Broncos, Rams, Chargers, Cardinals, Raiders, Seahawks, and Chiefs.

Our non-division road games are against the Broncos, Cardinals, Rams, Chiefs, and Bucs.

What do you guys think? I think this is a pretty decent schedule. Several of these teams have been medicore while a couple of them have been really good. At least for right now, I don't mind seeing us play these teams in 2005!

The way the redskins have been playing for the past 10 years I suspect these teams dont mind seeing the redskins on their schedule in 05.

Hahaha....you're probably right Irish! But, I'm sort of glad we're not playing the Patriots, Steelers, or Packers.

Its too early to say whether its a decent schedule or not....remember how we were all excited before this season began that we were going to play the piss poor AFC north...guess what, we lost to each and every team in a division that was pitiful in 2003.

Yeah I know it's too early to say...that's why I said at least for right now I dont' mind seeing us play these teams. Things could change dramatically next season. I am just glad that we're not playing teams that will more than likely be elite teams again next season...like New England or Green Bay and after this season the Steelers.

hurrykaine makes a good point - we can't really go on where these teams finished in 2004. We have to wait and see how the off-season works out before we can even begin to contemplate how the matchups might stack up.
