But as someone stated earlier. It was more about Gibbs than the QBs. I think that is what Zorn needs to learn. Gibbs was a motivator and also knew how to use his players and make game plans for his personnel and also he made good half time adjustments. Anyways. Can someone kill this thread. More about Gibbs? Sorry jack, but a coach is only as great as the players he has around him. Gibbs II wasn't so great now was it? Thing is the first time around he had players that wanted to win from a bygone era and a FO that was second to none. Pretty hard to lose with that combo.

Umm. Do you remember the strike year?

Okay then..He may have had some good players. But Gibbs was known to make his players better. His players didn't make him. He put them in positions where they could succeed.

I guess no other players in the NFL during that era on other teams wanted to win either..

We have talented players now. Are we winning? Are you a Gibbs hater? One of those people not thankful for him bringing us 3 superbowls just because his second coming fell short. If so I dont repsect you as a Redskins fan. Maybe you should cheer for the Lions since you are in Detroit. This isn't about all the players. The title is Redskins QB's. The ones under Gibbs weren't that great. They were good. Gibbs is in the hall of fame. Besides Theisman. The rest were good but not great (under Gibbs). But they maintained the game and played hard. Occasionally having great games. Which is no knock on them at all. But to say it was all about the players and not Gibbs is suspect
