He is the most successfull sports talk radio host in the history (although short) of the genre in the US.

And you'd define success by.....

I think Jim Rome may have something to say about that.

For the record, I can't stand Rome either.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

He and mad dog have been on continuously for 20 years. Dog left and both have continued to have success on their own. The revenues francesa's show generates through advertising is through the roof. Rome is not even close to francesa in terms of that.

His show is a bore especially since Mad Dog left.

I disagree. I don't like everything francesa does, and do not agree with everything he says, but his knowledge is light years ahead of Dog. I like Russo, but he was more shtick than substance.

Maybe that's what Matty meant by now it's a bore. As someone else mentioned 90% of what Francesa talks about is Yankees and Mets.

As for Gruden, I like him on MNF and I want him to stay there. Would be interesting though if Gruden and Bruce Allen came in a package deal, though I don't see it.

I think we should hire either Brian Schottenheimer or Kyle Shanahan to be our next head coach. Facts are facts people. Hiring sons of former head coaches is the hot new trend sweeping the nation. See Rex Ryan and his 2-0 record. He's freakin' undefeated! You can't argue with that. And don't give me any bs stats about Wade Phillips (or Mike Shula). Those were pre "hot new trend" coaching hires that don't jibe with my theory.
