Yes, but all that demonstrates is that fans are complaining about Zorn. That does not put Zorn on the hot seat because fans have zero hand in the hiring and firing processes.

Remember Jim Fossil? Don't think the fans had anything to do with the choice between him and Zorn?

I pray that the fans had nothing to do with the Fassel decision or any other one. Fans are idiots. I hope that their voice is not taken into account.

The fact is, Zorn is not really on the hot seat until Danny issues the dreaded "statement of confidence." Such statements ironically legitimize criticism. If the owner is not concerned about a coach, then then the owner says nothing, which so far has been the case.

You say you pray the fans had nothing to do with the Fassel decision, well obviously you weren't paying a great deal of attention to the selection process. Just about everyone on this board can/will concur in the fact that had it not been for people like those represented here as well as the many radio talk shows and numerous other outlets that voiced their dissaproval of Jim Fassel, in all likelehood he would have been the next HC here after Gibbs decided to step down.

To suggest fans are idiots.....well I'm a fan, have been a fan for a long, long time just like most of our fellow members here and we don't want to put ourselves in the category of idiots. We're trying to get beyond the Robert Henson philosophy.

I don't think that is true. Some people say that, others don't. I was paying attention and that is not the way that I saw it.

So, since you made the claim, provide the evidence: what is your evidence that the Fassel (non)hire came because of fan voices? Please present some convincing evidence, not innuendo.

Supposedly Fassell already had an agreement in place to become the head coach and was then kind of not informed officially until it was found out a few days later that he wasn't appointed.

Fassell told the public soon after that he felt like he was slighted by the whole process.

My personal opinion is that they leaked Fassells agreement and got some negative feedback and reconsidered. None of us not named Dan Snyder or Vinny Cerrato will ever know but that I personally believe the front office used fan feedback in their decision.
