The reason for the losing has not and has never been about the coaches. But this team is poorly coached on top of it.

How is it(the team) different? The offense only scored a FG on its own without being nicely set up by the defense. No 100 yard rushing by Portis, JC didn't even hit 200 yards passing today. If anything happened it was regression. At least vs the Lions, JC put up monster stats and we could drive down the field. The defense did a decent job, but obviously not enough to win the game on its own. The playcalling is highly suspect, but to me the problem has always been systemic. What Zorn introduced worked great last year through the Lions game of '08, then all of a sudden our offense got stymied. The NFL has had 20 years to come up with proper defenses for the WCO, so once they analyzed the basic scheme of Zorny's creation it was downhill from there. Zorn in hindsight should have gradually introduced his scheme or make a hybrid of the WCO, combining it with the more conventional pro style.
