(for the record, for the best QB of all time, I'd do it. Peyton is the best ever, or damn close to best ever.)
May I ask if you are High???????? LOL No way Indy would let Peyton go, plus we can't trade an entire draft for a 34 yr old QB.

I agree and disagree at the same time. JC is not starter caliber, but we will need him in an emergency role. Collins will probably retire after this season or will be shown the door. You do need a vet to back you up if the rook or newbie struggles.

AMEN! He hides his ineptitude in decent looking stats. We all blame his lack of time in the pocket, but fact is, he isn't ALWAYS on his ass. He has been sacked more this year than in previous years (20 times in 7 games), but that's just under 3 times a game. Some of which were his fault. He needs to be decisive and when you have a 3 step drop, let the ball fly. Don't overthrow wide open receivers downfield either! Sure he hasn't had all day to pick apart defenses, but even if he did, we'd only see slightly better stats from him. He's at his very best right now, and will never get better. He'll make a decent backup for someone else some day...but a back up is the best he will be.

OMG dude I've argued with RUHSKINS the other night and I said his stats are "Junk" stats because he never makes plays when it counts, and the only reason why he don't throw int's is because he never takes shots down field, so thats why he never throws TD'S either.. Thomas and Mitchell, Kelly will all be better off w/o JC

Bring Chase back
Brennan is off IR
Draft a guy

Still think keeping JC as a backup isn't so bad though. I think of when we drafted Shuler then Gus. Shuler sucked, and we were stuck with the guy we got for depth as the starter.

I will be pissed when JC overtakes Gus in the all time Skins TD passing stat later on this season. There was no dink and dunk shit with Norv and Gus.

Not a bad idea, but JC won't resign w us... He probably wishes the season was over already..

Bastard has no choice or go the way of Ramsey. Nobody seemed to want him fishing him around during the Cutler/Sanchez fiasco. He will re sign if we choose to do so or his career will go in the gutter.

Maybe we can give the Colts all of our draft picks for the next ten years and just swap teams.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

I really think this offseason could be excellent if we play our hand correctly and some of our picks pan out the way we'd like.

1st round - No question here. Best Tackle available. We can't keep that a secret.

2nd round - Best guard available. Very likely that both of these picks will start in the upcoming season.

3rd round or possibly trade up into the mid - late 2nd round - GET TONY PIKE. Im telling you guys, Tony Pike reminds me of a slightly more accurate Flacco with much better NFL ready physical attributes. Watch this guy take off. Franchise quarterback flying under the radar.

With those three picks, keeping Samuels (fingers crossed), Derrick Dockery and Levi Jones and possibly Williams for a backup guard position, I think our OLine could actually go from very bad to maybe even above average, given a little luck. Add onto this list the best free agent center on the market this offseason, and its definitely doable.

LOL...just throwing it out there. Peyton still has 5 good years left in him. The Colts might do it due to his age...and we are dumb enough to offer it. HAHA

Peyton knows when to get rid of it, and he knows where all his wr's are at that very time. He's not afraid to let the ball fly after holding it for 1 second. I know it's a pipe dream, and I certainly have a man crush on peyton...but come on, you wouldn't give up all the picks next year for him? Especially knowing we will likely be uncapped?

Peyton Manning .. why is this conversation even happening ? This is borderline retarded, at least come up with ideas that make some sort of sense ... like bring back Jeff George

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

i feel as though this conversation only really matters after we sure up the line in front of the dude taking snaps. this team has gone too long without addressing the o-line problems. i know we have all said this a million times, but it has to be done.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?

I would start JC or Colt next year after taking Dan Lefevour in the 3rd/4th round. (I think he may fall a ways just because of all of the "big" names rumored to be coming out.)

EDIT: For the record, I'm aware the Skins don't have a 3rd, but they could trade in if they needed to.
