Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
If the year is capless, there likely will actually be fewer free agents. Some people see it as a potential free-for-all but likely it will be the opposite.

Well then, that opens the trade market.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
For 2010, I would go with Todd Collins or Jeff Garcia, have Colt Brennan as #2, and then sign another vet QB, maybe Kerry Collins if he's released by the Titans, perhaps even trade Jason Campbell for Kerry C. But definitely not Mark Brunell. Gibbs gave a #3 draft choice for Brunell when he was going to be released anyway. Other teams said they knew Brunell was washed up, but we had to get him.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
I predict that Marc Bulger is wearing the B&G next year. The Rams are looking for a scapegoat and there's a good chance that they will let him go in a youth movement. There also is a very good chance that we will be qb shopping. Put two and two together, and...
If we had Bulger, and a younger guy to groom behind him, that may not be too terrible.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
To tell you the truth, I don't really have too much concern over who the QB is next year as long as they make strides to fix the O-line. Remeber, even Slippin' Ripien had a good year for the Skins behind a solid line. We can address the QB situation another year. We need to build the foundation before decorating the walls.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
Yeah, I feel him though honestly I don't really feel we will be a super bowl contender anytime soon. It just might take 2-3 year just to fix and gel the o-line together not to mention FO problems. It's not that ppl are giving up it's until we make some changes my expections are lower 5-11, 6-10 seasons.

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
I would want to see Colt get a chance to battle who ever they bring in this off-season for the starting job.
Garcia would be a GREAT #2 QB....

Re: Your next QB for the Skins?
This thread really depresses me when you consider that we traded a 1st, 3rd, and a 6th to get Jason. After busting out out Shuler, Ramsey, and Campbell, I don't want to see another 1st round pick wasted on a QB. Use any and all early picks to address the O-line. Regardless of who we bring in at QB, their chances will be much, much better if we upgrade the line to protect the QB.
