I would have to go with Brady. Not to take anything away from those other great Quarterbacks, but the defenses that Brady face these days and the prevent defense becoming extinct in many of the attack defenses currently being used.
How many games have the redskins lost due to the prevent, not very hard for a quarteback with any skills to pick that apart and drive down the field? TOO MANY!!
I love Gregg Williams philosophy of no prevent!!!

I've hated elway but he was without a doubt the best qb with the ball and around 2 minutes to go and a few points down. Plus he did what he did without anywhere near the resources that Montana did and for that reason I'd put Brady 2nd. and all this talk about building a team, if I could start with one qb it'd have to be marino cuz there hasn't been a better pure pocket passer than him and it's kinda scary thinking about how many SB's Miami could have gone to and won if they had a top 10 rb. Plus I could be wrong but Marino amassed all of his numbers without a super star quality wr, cuz as good as clayton, duper, and irving were, they weren't top of the line kind of wrs.

It' interesting that you mention Marino and now he never got a ring because he was lacking a top RB. What if Elway had never gotten Terrell Davis? I don't want to take anything away from Elway, but what if he didn't get those rings at the twilight of his career (largely thanks to TD). I think the gap between him and Marino and possibly even Jim Kelly would be a lot closer.

I'd take Montana. My sleeper pick would be Phil Simms (even though he was a rival, he could get it done)

I'll take Montana. The others were good, but he was the best I saw. Not to mention he's a Notre Dame boy.

Brady actually reminds me a lot of him.
