Come on guys, don't forget this guy gave us around 1500 yards last season, lets not toss him out as dead weight so easily

Oh brother. He's one of a handful of backs who still get almost all of their team's carries. There are dozens of much cheaper backs who could have racked up 1500 yards if they got the 342 carries Portis got. Most teams are smart enough to split the carries among 2 or 3 backs. We've seen Betts and Cartwright be productive, but our stupid coaching staff froze them both out, so Portis could hog all the carries. What a waste.
