Re: Is Brett Favre starting a trend for old QB's?
No. I think Favre is the exception and will not become the rule... although i'd love to see Manning have such a long career.

Brees (30), Favre (40), Rivers (28), Rodgers (26), P. Manning (33), Schaub (28), Roethlisburger (27), Romo (29), McNabb (33), Brady (32). Aside from Favre and Warner (38), the trend really doesn't exist and they are certainly exceptions to the rule. What is also helping these 2 old farts are offensive lines (Favre's been sacked 27 times, Warner 20) and the young (sub-30 years old) receivers these guys are throwing to (Favre has Berrian, Harvin, Rice; Warner has Fitzgerald, Boldin, Breaston).
