Rooney Rule=Equal Employment Opportunity Every job you apply to has this rule, so therefore same thing goes for the NFL.

Didn't Jim Caldwell have the Indi job handed to him on a plate?

Shouldn't they have had to interview a non-minority candidate?

I guess you could say the same thing in Seattle were Jim Mora Jr. was named the successor before Holmgren was gone.

Rooney rule I don't think applies to a coach in waiting situation

EEO is Rooney Rule=Affirmative Action. The intent of the rule is designed to obtain a fair and unbiased result, the problem is, there's no safeguard in place to ensure the rule is fairly implemented. If an owners heart is unfair, you can change the rule, make new rules, but rules can't change the heart.

EOE law does NOT mandate that you must interview a minority candidate
