No. Here's why....
1) He wants Allen as his GM. He's said so in his interview with Buffalo. 2) Chicago is not as exciting for him. This is the NFC BEast baby. 3) He and DS are good friends. They talk all the time. 4) I'm telling you the deal was made back in Oct. It's not rocket science. |

His son will join him wherever he coaches next year because his contract is up at the end of the season. If Houston fires Kubiak, Shanahan would not accept the job out of respect for him. They are extremely close (Shanahan was Kubiak's best man) and there's a tremendous amount of professional respect.
