It just became apparent that he wasn't a NFL starting QB. He was tough as nails and had a strong arm but that (IMHO) is the complete list of his ability. Even with a good protection (which he rarely had here), he couldn't succeed. There is a reason, with the dearth of QB talent in the league, that he was out of football - and it had nothing to do with Spurrier. __________________ Strap it up, hold onto the ball, and let’s go.
