How about McDaniels as a potential black Monday victim?

I doubt it would happen and Bowlen probably doesn't want to go through more offseason drama but he has to be asking himself today if booting Shanahan last year was really worth it.

The Broncos exceeded most expectations for them this season, including mine. I had them for 4-5 wins. Later in the season, they played that way, but that shocking early-season success skewed their record.

I think McDaniels has a bright future, but Kyle Orton and Chris Simms aren't the answer in Denver.
