I just can't see him making it in the nfl, but if he does he'll have to play strong safety. I don't think he has the speed or coverage ability. I doubt he could bulk up to play LB & maintain his speed. He's definitely an undrafted free agent, I will bet $ on that (well, w/the caveat that the raiders might take him in the 3rd round). Shipley seems like he could move up to the 2nd or 3rd rounds if he has a good combine. I think a lot of scouts will want to see his 40 times. I got sick of hearing people compare him to welker. He seems more of an outside flanker to me. |
