Cult, didn't you post Kiper's underclassmen that should stay in the 'late round gem' thread? Take a look at what he says about McKnight, the rb from USC. He doesn't so much say anything about Mcknight, he just says that teams all have rb's now & there's a "surplus."

i.e. in this draft you might get a starting back in the 3rd or 4th round or beyond. So I find it hard to fathom that anyone would trade a pick for CP w/his age, salary & other issues. I would expect Shanny is weighing these options too. The main reasons CP might stay are salary & the team has too many needs to draft a rb to replace him. (I do foresee a rb taken in the draft, just not sure he'll be an every down guy)
