I hate to say it but the Jets got very lucky this year. They're definitely a good team but look at the facts. They had 5 field goals missed against them in their first two playoff games. The last two games of the season where they needed to win out to get to the playoffs they were able to get games where their opponents were resting most of their starters for the second half.

They finally went up against a team with a solid O-Line (not great like the Jets), a good defense, and a franchise QB and basically couldn't keep up once the second half started. And by the way they should have lost to the Chargers. I mean great story that a gritty team like them won but if Nate Kaeding makes 2 of those kicks the Jets are going home a week early.

The Jets success next year will depend heavily on Sanchez becoming an 80+ QB. Make no mistake they worked for what they got but they still had a lot of help along the way.

We will add O-Lineman through the draft. Possibly as many as 3 if BA's draft record holds up. It's just that everyone shouldn't be surprised if it isn't with the #4 pick. Trust me, if it is a QB, you'll be thanking the front office by the end of the 2012 season, and not in a sarcastic way like....you know, "thanks Vinny." This isn't your Vinny Cerrato Redskins. If Vinny Cerrato was running this draft we'd be looking at a S, WR, CB, LB, K, and QB.
