You guys realize the article is about soccer, right? This kind of technology would be tough to use when spotting the ball in most instances because guys regularly move it forward after the whistle has blown. It might work on a goal line situation, but not much else.
Technology is overrated. We'd have nothing to complain about on our forum if the refs got it all right. Lets not forget when they used the microchip in Hockey and the colored blur followed the puck around. Horrible. Not that I care about hockey... That being said, I am glad that the ACC will have some limited replay this year for football. |

I did, I'm still pissed off about it too. I'm a Red Wings fan and I won't be seeing Stevie Y or Shannie going out in a blaze of glory. Plus it makes for a VERY LONG off season with the NFL. I'm having to adopt the LA Dodgers as a substitute. |
