29 year old Tackle? We don't really have to ammo to pull that off do we? Maybe for a second next year but still I don't want to continue to trade picks.

I have no idea what we'd be giving up.

We inquired about both Marcus McNeill and Jermon Bushrod but both seem to have fallen by the wayside. Focus looks to now be on Brown and Colon. Some say Donald Penn as well, but I'm not so sure about that one.

Hypothetical. If Berry slips to us at 4, would you trade Landry for Brown and draft Berry? Or would you rather hold onto Landry and draft Okung?

Thats a tough one, but I'll take Okung. Actually I would take a trade for Brown and draft Okung. Then try to Atowge from St. Louis.

this is when i thank god that i dont have to make decisions like this.

i would say i would take landry/okung and hope that #30 will perform better under our new coaching staff/scheme/etc.

Isn't today the deadline for RFAs to sign the tender offer? If not today, isn't this coming up soon?

i was more hoping we'd be after bushrod. so are brown and colon (i want to make a joke here) an either/or situation or could we trade for both of them and use our first pick on something other than a offensive tackle?

Berrys not worth being taken at 4. i just dont get the love for him. personnaly, i'd trade Landry for Brown, Rogers for Colon and a pick, trade down from 4 with SF and draft Spililer and Iupati. i'd view him as a left guard and future LT project and try to trade dockery for a late round pick.

Brown/Iupati/Rabach/Hicks/Colon

Actually, if i had more time to think about it, i'd probably come up with something different and much crazier.

Colon has surpassed the "serviceable" mark lol.. if there's anything extra thrown in it will probably be from our side, though if they're looking to move him like Holmes due to the nightclub thing it's not likely that we would
what does it mean that he's starter all 16 games for 3 years. thats probably true of most of the steelers line during that time frame and its been pretty atrocious. their line isnt much better than ours. if colon were considered one of the positives of their line, then why the heck would they be trying to get rid of him?

I don't get all the hype surround the RFA contracts being signed at the last minute. If anything it seems like nothing more then a formality.

Re: Dirtbag's Mock Draft

woah, how'd you make such a fancy mock draft?

BTW, it seems pretty reasonable based on no trades occurring. i think someone ends up trading ahead of buffalo for clausen, though.
