Redskins Send 5th Rounder to Rams for Carriker and a 5th (Swap 7ths)

Hell yeah!!!! I wanted this guy back in 2007. Hard worker that won't be under pressure to put up huge sack numbers in our 3-4.

Good. I know it's in vogue right now to try and trade down, but considering the possibility that we're going to see 4 tackles go in the top 10 I don't want to trade down. As I've said before I doubt we can find two players equal to who we would get at 4.

So right now the Redskins draft looks like this:

1st - Okung or Williams
2nd - McNabb
3rd - Jarmon
4th - QB Prospect
5th - Adam Cariker
7th - Your guess is as good as mine.

Most people however see this

Yeah, I would prefer the 4th round pick to be another lineman but I have the feeling that they'll use it on a QB. I guess I was confused because the Rams have a better draft position and swapping both 5th and 7th round picks seemed like we were being paid to move up in exchange for taking on Carikers contract.
