Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
Maybe we could trade for CJ Spiller. Then draft Jevan Snead in the 4th and John Skelton in the 5th.

2. My definition of stop gap is different from yours. I believe that stop gap is a one year thing. I believe that Delhome has solidified the QB position in Cleveland for possibly 2-4 years. 3. Delhome does not necessarily suck, he had a bad year and got hurt in the middle of it. If he sucked then the Panthers would not have given him that fat contract right before last season. The Panthers obviously believe that based on performance that Moore has the potential to be as good as Delhome. Given that he is younger, cheaper, and the fact that it is an uncapped year it just made sense to release Delhome without a penalty. 4. There is a market to move Campbell but we would have to accept far less than what he is really worth. In my mind he is worth a late 3rd or early to mid 4th. Right now the market is trying to dictate more like a late 4th early 5th. |

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
I wondered if the Saints would be interested in AH. Along w/Grilliams' former players Rocky & Landry, I thought they might enter into discussions for AH.
A fair & mutually beneficial deal would be; J. Brown for AH, NO pays us half of the 21 mil that we paid AH, and we in turn sign J. Brown to a contract extension. Both teams would essentially be re-signing the other's vet player. |

On as side note, I am going to go King Kong on New York if I see this quote posted by Matt Mosley for Haynesworth rumors on ESPN Insider: Quote:

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
Lets just keep our players. Landry, Haynesworth, and McIntosh should all have productive season this year. Campbell is the only one we should be looking to trade.

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
Let's also keep in mind that the trading market for JC might be better during camp or early in the season. If we only get a late round pick for him, it might be worth the chance we take to hold onto him & see what happens as the season is underway. One injury could make a team desperate.
Also, if the new cba includes comp. picks then we could get a good one if JC leaves as an UFA after next year & starts somewhere. |

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
There is also talk that the Vikings,Saints and Redskins are talking about a trade with big Al. Vikings like the CB that the Saints picked Robinson last night. OT Brown would come to the Skins and picks from both the Saints and Vikings would come Washingtons way. Seems like a lot to happen but who knows. Never thought McNabb would be a Redskins eaither!

Re: Day 2, rds 2 & 3.
Something eles out there is it being reported out here on the left coast on KNBR that the Raiders would like to trade LB K.Morrison and the Redskins are in talks. J.Campbell has also be in the talks as well...Is Morrison a good fit for the Redskins? Would you make that trade JC for KM?
