They better hope he shows since they passed on Clausen multiple times. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be back. In my opinion he should've retired after last year because unless they win the Super Bowl this year it will be a disappointment.

Of course, he just has to hope that another season won't end even worse than the last one.

Damnit, we could have traded Jason Campbell to the Vikings for Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, and Steve Hutchinson (well...we probably would have needed to throw Reed Doughty in to make it fair)
Quick, someone figure out how to get Campbell back and start a thread on this possibility!

The job of mass media is to entertain and keep you focused on trivial crap while real serious issues/problems are pushed back into obscurity. Fact is the 24/7 news/sports cycle is to blame. How much new crap can these stations put out every day, every hour? Not too much, thus they make their own news by "pushing" stories on their viewers. |

Wasn't the mass media that started this thread. Don't want to discuss it, don't start these threads

Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol
If I were a teammate of this drama king I would just call him out. It's all about him every off season. But Minn. knew what they were getting when they signed up for the side show.

Re: And the Brett Favre saga begins again lol
With Favre comes the drama, but look at his production last year. That's why guys don't call him out. As you say the Vikes knew what they were getting.

And he's been steadfast in his defense of Favre as his QB even as Favre isn't acting like he owes anyone anything. Granted, as soon as Favre gets too old to be effective (and that day is coming eventually...right?), this will all blow up in Childress' face if he doesn't cut the cord before then, but as long as he knows his team and thinks his team is going to win with Favre under center, I think he's found a way around the "having to build a team the right way" mantra. The Vikings are what Snyder thought the Redskins could be about a decade ago. |
