Re: Cold weather Super Bowls on the way

this is a horrible idea. anyone remember the 86 redskins and that championship game against the giants where the wind blew like 50 mph? or back in 07 when we beat ny and eli and collins couldn't complete a pass cause the wind was howling so hard. it's just too risky and if you get these type of conditions in a super bowl then the game could be a complete joke.

In 86 the weather was the same on both sides of the field, same in 07.I was at a Giants Game when Bruce Smith knocked Kerry Collins from the game(think it was a Dec game) it had snowed about 10-12 inches and they were paying the general public $10 an hour to come and help shovel snow.

I totally agree. Why even allow a chance of weather ruining the game? The fans want to go somewhere warm and nice for a winter get away and I suspect the players would rather not deal with the weather factor either.
