this is interesting to look at, and I would think that the nos. will pretty much reflect rosters on opening day since most teams decide to cut vets for cap reasons well before camp.
The turnover on the skins is pretty significant due to who they let go. obviously, qb is a big change, but they also let go of some vets that many of us have watched for years, like Smoot. I expect some similar cuts next year too, maybe Portis, Moss, Carter, Fletcher, daniels, and some guys that won't re-sign; rocky, rogers, doughty. I always want to see the players stay w/the team a long time, but realistically I don't expect most of the guys mentioned above to be here beyond this season. |
