Personally, I think he'll be damaging his career (further) if he holds out during training camp and into the season. Honestly, at this point I don't care what he does or what is said about him now, because as someone has said he just need to show up for training camp and get to work.

Showing up in good shape will be a good start, but I think he's got a bit more to do before everyone considers this past offseason water under the bridge. He better be ready to work his tail off and do anything the coaches ask of him with no complaining.

That said I still can't shake this feeling that he's not going to be in a Redskins uniform this year.

UPDATE: That big weight loss that Albert Haynesworth has undergone this offseason, as described below? Yeah, apparently it might not be with the best intentions.

Don Banks of Sports Illustrated pondered 20 burning questions recently, and in considering Haynesworth's bitter situation in D.C., noted that "now we learn that Haynesworth is reportedly losing weight in an effort to make himself less valuable as a nose tackle in Shanahan's 3-4 formation and force a trade."

If Kemo comes in healthy, we could use him at NT and AH at DE I suppose. Of course, if AH can play effectively at NT at a lower weight because he's in better shape...fine. Definitely a wait and see with this one.

I would agree with this; If Kemo is 100% put AH at DE and Kemo at NT. If Kemo isn't 100% either
A) start AH at NT until Kemo is healthy
B) start gholston at NT until Kemo is healthy
C) start AH at NT for the whole season and rotate kemo

Shaun Phillips from the Chargers was just on NFL live and was asked to pick his own "Big 3". He said on defense he would take Chris Jenkins, Albert Haynesworth, and Julius Peppers. Then the other guys started to razz him about his situation in DC and how he doesn't want to play the nose. They asked him what he thought about the situation and he said for that money he would play any position. Then went into a little more depth about it. Interesting stuff.
