This guy OM is a member here, or at least he was. He used to post links to his blog entries on here. Not anymore I guess.

Re: DMc Is good for the Redskins.

DMac has never won a thing in a Skins uniform. On the other hand, Richard Bartel has never lost a game as an NFL quarterback. We would have won the Super Bowl last year if Zorn had started Bartel. Clearly Bartel should start!

What fun is football without a quarterback controversy?

I stopped on request of local management, GM. At some point last season I believe it became a no-no. Just respecting the house.

Thanks for the reads and comments, all. Hard for even the most hard-bitten Redskins cynics among us to not be even a little bit excited/intrigued about the possibility of watching a burgundy and gold offense forcing opposing defenses to burn a little midnight oil and drop the occasional Maalox again.

That's cool. SS and Matty run a great site, so whatever their motives were for asking you to stop, I'm sure they know what they're doing.

I do enjoy reading your perspectives. I'm oh so cautiously optimistic about the 2010 version of the Redskins. A brand new defense, a brand new coach, and a brand new QB. I don't see how it can come together right away, even if all three are upgrades. I personally see us as a competitive 8-8, 9-7 type of team. I think we'll be in the hunt for a playoff spot up until the end.

A part of me really wanted to see what Jason Campbell could have accomplished under Shanahan's tutelage.

I agree with this here. Like the article said: a franchise QB can make a bad team competitive, competitive team good, and good team great -- we were a bad team that hopefully just got competitive.
