Re: Unofficial depth chart is out

Kinda surprised to see Barnes where he is and Tyron so low. Seems like they flip flopped.

Re: Unofficial depth chart is out

Torrain is 3rd RB in front of Parker...thats a bit suprising this early

Golston a starter over Daniels is interesting too...Daniels is a beast...perhaps they are thinking age...to transition him to the primary bench guy...I just dont buy it though...daniels is still better than golston.

Not suprised by Tryon being 4th string...but Barnes aint there in coverage yet.
Perhaps putting Tryon at 4th has something to do with that article about him being a breakout player....for all we know he got a big head about it or something...he's got to be better than Ramzee Robinson...I mean...c'mon! He's not great, but he doesn't suck that bad

Shanny was ready to start Torain in Denver before Torain got hurt. He's been under the radar but that won't last.

I was. After reading about how solid of a camp he's been having, I thought he'd be further up there.

Not if you saw Torrain running. Makers great cuts, great at finding holes, FAST.

Nice to see Vickers at 3rd TE, hope he makes the team, he is a GREAT receiving TE. Huge target with great hands and can beat DBs on routes.

Kareem Moore can be a starter, but we have a great backup in Doughty.
Saw Reed with a pick-6 on Saturday...Grossman ran out onto the field across the goal line to the other end of the field and tried to chase him down (failed) to prevent the TD. It was hilarious. Anyways, depth is very strong at both safety positions. Quality backups.

REPLACE SUNDBERG, please.

Devin still is the first team kick returner though, so he isn't that likely on the cut list at the moment.

Re: Unofficial depth chart is out

I read an opinion piece (can't remember where) basically saying that Parker won't be on the roster opening day. He's getting fewer reps in camp than Torain.

With the exception of WR, our depth chart doesn't look too bad.

I am with Smoot. I just don't put much stock in the depth chart this early in camp.

I also would not like to see us trading away high draft picks for a WR who is about to be suspended.

Re: Unofficial depth chart is out

I agree Okie, but we have way too many holes to fill than to give up two top picks for him. We will be losing Moss to aging soon, and if the newbies can't cut the mustard you are then stuck with one functional WR again. We need safeties, and a LB on D, and of course the big project, the O line.

No doubt, we both agree with each other lol.. I just hope Thomas steps up and can become a legit player for us

I like our Safeties though.. Lendy Holmes may surprise in these preseason games

Only way we have a good rebuilding year and perhaps some hope is if Thomas and Kelly get it together. Even if Thomas alone does it it will be good. I like Austin, he does have that speed burst, but that guy is as thin as I am.

Maybe somehow Austin can be a poor man's desean jackson. It's possible, and who is this Anthony Armstrong ? He's pretty small also, but must be doing the right things
