I don't see that happening, after all, Houston and KS traded Sage to Minnesota and kept Rex. I like the concept of trading AH to Tampa Bay. They aren't a contender, and making them stronger makes sense in terms of making the Saints schedule just a bit harder.

Are you being serious? no way do I want Clayton for AH, the guy sucks. Plus we are not battling the Saints for anything, we are just hoping to make the playoffs not battle for the NFC title.

You never know where this team may be come the end of December MRed.

I am not counting us out of anything yet.

Hell I am not even crowning the Saints again, this is a new season and there is so much turnover year in and year out in the NFL to really be able to predict the winners in the NFC this year.

Well, to be fair, I didn't say Clayton for AH, I said AH to Tampa Bay. I don't think Clayton for AH straight up would be any type of deal, but throw in picks, or just their 3rd conditional to a 2nd and I might be up for it.

My point in terms of the Saints was I would rather AH go to a non-contender that makes a contender's road harder, than somewhere like Minnesota, where AH could be a key player and end up making the Skins look foolish. I certainly could see us on the 9-7 10-6 area, and maybe the Saints or Falcons lose a game to TB and gives us a wild card. (and I'm not ruling out the Div Championship till we are mathematically eliminated)

My top teams to trade him to would be TB, Seattle, or a few AFC teams.

Where did CRed say anything about Clayton?

BHA-What we need to do is trade Haynesworth for Chris Simms! Am I right?

Scud-I'm glad he's not playing either

Lotus-Time for Bartel to shine!

It is being reported the Skins and TB would be good suitors for a AH/ Clayton swap, I assumed he was referring to that, my bad.

SS and CRed sniffed it out. This is all just a ruse to give our secret weapon, Bartel, some playing time without other teams' getting suspicious. Next stop Pro Bowl for #10!

If Clayton is cut, I could see us taking a look but an AH/Clayton swap doesn't make sense to me

It would if we got an extra pick thrown in. AH for Clayton is rather one sided on face value. We really need to get back some picks.

Kelly is also out again which leads me to think that he is either to going to be placed on the PUP or IR list.

I'm just about done with Kelly. He's the second coming of Taylor Jacobs.

Apparently he can't be placed on the PUP list, since he'd have to be injured BEFORE training camp to do this. IR is still possible I suppose. Sucks, I had hopes for him, but now there's pretty much little to no justification for him to be on our roster. If he is, then Shanahan would violate all his rules of a player proving himself by playing in practice. Banks, Armstrong and even Galloway I guess have shown more than Kelly.

Too bad, MK hurt his hamstring at McNabb's camp. The question will always be - did McNabb work his receivers too hard at "Hell week"?

I think the obvious answer is no. It's MK we're talking about. He's the only one that got hurt and he basically admitted to not warming up properly.
