Re: Houshmandzadeh signs with Ravens (Adam Shefter)
Well that came out of nowhere. I'm not saying that Moss sucks or anything, but TJ Housh could've compete for the #1 spot and def get more catches with the Redskins.

Re: Houshmandzadeh signs with Ravens (Adam Shefter)
I call it the Madden effect. People like to give that "who do you cover" speech to their friends. For me I just get a headache when I hear it, especially since you hear it frequently from Dallas fans these days. On top of that people keep forgetting to mention Chris Cooley as a viable number 2 target. Inside the box thinking has people thinking that a #2 guy has to be a wideout.

Quote:
Of last year's playoff teams NYJ, SD, Indy, Dallas & Philly each featured a TE that was either 1st or 2nd on their team in receptions. Balt, Pitt, GB, NO & Minn each featured a TE that was 3rd on the team in receptions. Only New England and Arizona didn't use the TE as a part of their passing game but they each have elite options at the WR position, a true rarity in the NFL. We can be productive and proficient with what we have at the receiving (WR/TE) positions.
