Brief incoherent post about the Bears for week 2
First of all Jay Cutler is a stud and you can bitch all you want about his INTs, but this guy knows how to elevate his game and get the ball to his receivers for huge plays. He knows how to put the ball in a good spot for his receiver and he can play "faster" without "rushing".
Bears have a godawful oline that's worse than ours and their TE and RBs are crappy pass blockers. That was compensated for by their Oline. Mike Martz made adjustments that ultimately won them the game. He realized that his 5- and 7-step drop plays were doomed to failure and began calling quicker developing plays to help out Cutler. The TD pass to Greg Olsen was one of those.

I know this week we all were Bears fans just like we were Lions and Colts fans but I'm begining to get the feeling the OP is a closet Bears fan...... come on SirClintonPortis, admit it.
Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Bears forum? |

Yesterday, I was a Bears fan (also).
Today, back to not caring about them.

Was impressed with the way Martz systematically attacked a weakness in the Cowboys defense with his passing game. I'm impressed with the way the Bears ran the ball.
Thought Cutler played really well in spite of everything happening in front of him, though the passing game was just mediocre overall. No interceptions thrown was a big reason why the Bears won.

Re: Brief incoherent post about the Bears for week 2
Since Reid is married to Kolb (via McNabb trade), what's the likelyhood that Vick plays elsewhere next year since he's on a one year deal with the Eagles?

I predict Kolb will play his way out of his "entitlement", Reid will be fired and Vick will be their starter next season.

Cutler makes the throw to Galloway, just like he tossed it to Knox.

Not to call you out but this is the classic case of someone passing something off without defending their opinion.. Cutler showed a lot
