Fred Davis' failure to chip the edge guy led directly to the blocked FG that kept it a 1 possession game with 6 minutes left. And even D-Mac missing Galloway 5 yards in the clear with a long pass could have put the game on ice. This was a total team loss, with plenty of blame for all phases.

Agreed, we had plenty of things go wrong, and we had plenty of plays you look back on and wish they would have went differently. That's why I really hate singling out guys like Doughty. He was part of the loss of course but I'm just not a fan of the finger pointing and trying to find a scapegoat.

Seems like every week, win or lose, somebody's ass needs cutting.

Last week it was Rabach, this week it's Doughty.


I don't have a bad word to say about last night's game. It was great entertainment and although it was a heartbreaking loss it at least gave me reason to be optimistic about the rest of the season.
