to me it transcends a play or game, just if people had his style, his ability, his desire.. if every player played like Sean Taylor you wouldn't need an offense.. if every player played like Sean you wouldn't have excuses after games.. if every player played like Sean we wouldn't have much to worry about

some players are smart, some players adjust well, some are fast.. some are big..

Sean had all of that, plus intensity, you can't coach intensity, you either want it or you don't.. being a wrestler myself and having played defense, there's no substitute for intensity, none at all.. you can take the most intensive player and couple that with half smarts and chances are you're going to be much better than the smartest player with 75% intensity

you're never out of the play when you're ready to make it
What I respected about him, and what I think about is more than the "What If" game taht people like to play, but more of what you are talking about T. The way the man played, the way that he brought out the most in CP, and even in Satana at times, the way he raised the whole play of the enitre defense. He was just so special and I wanted to watch him become the greatest Safety to ever play the game.

He was going to be that special, he was going to lead the defense to championships, but his life had more meaning than football. He was destined to bring that same intensity to protecting the 2 most important things to him in his life. That is what he was brought here to do. To impact our lives the way that he did, I am sure there are men and children out that he has become a hero for even in death. He opened my eyes to certain things about life and I did not even know him.
