Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Giants showing how a 4-3 D-line utterly stacked with talent can beat scrub OLs. Thank god we at least improved ours, although further improvements are needed.

Lol. Al Michaels. "They practice this in practice all the time. They strip, strip, strip".

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
What a great strip and recovery by that Bears DB on Ahmad Bradshaw. Was that Charles Tillman? I thought I heard Al Michaels say Bowman though. I'm not sure who it was but it was a great play either way.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
'Cause I never bothered to change it. And when I wanted to change it, the guy I wanted to change it to(Carriker) wasn't there.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Proof that the NFL is a new season each week, how are the Bears 3-0?

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Because Martz and Cutler were able to make up for the deficiencies in the Bears' O-line in the previous weeks. The Giants are simply too stacked in their front 4.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
What an ugly Sunday Night game. And this Giants td seals it. Somebody should tell the Bears' o-line how to pass block.

Collins down. Outlook for Chicago is bad for the next few weeks.

Re: NFL Regular season thread (Week 4)
Apparently that wasn't the case tonight, Cutler looked like crap and had the same issues that Campbell has had in the past. Cutler is not elite enough to beat a team by himself, something that you'll see the likes of Manning, Brees, and Brady do.

Hell, last year, he beat the Vikes with a beautifully thrown ball to Aromashodu. This week, the O-line could not tread water like they did in the previous weeks and he gets smacked with a concussion. The Bears o-line is never going to dominate an opposing o-line this year. They'll always be underdogs. Cutler may be facing similar external issuses to Campbell like the shitty O-line, but mentally and physically, he is much above Campbell. Campbell is not good with "over the top routes" or routes in which the target point has leads the receiver "up" field. He's only good at stuff like comebacks and the like. Campbell is also mediocre at extending the play, while Cutler has shown he can avoid some critical sacks and the like.

So,
I just want to make sure I understand this right. KC is the only undefeated team in the NFL? Really KC. |

Cutler got dominated by another team and was not able to overcome the the deficiencies of his offense (although I think their D played well and gave the offense opportunities to come back in this game). Now he has a concussion and who knows what will become of him. End of story.
