Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread

yep, Gano missed a sure fire FG to hve the game tied.

Wish we would have been a little more aggresive on Offense with the pass. We saw some of that in the fourth.

And yes another foot over the safties head and we win by 4.

Good effort by the team, but there's no "W" to show for so it's just a good effort and that's it. I think this team has a lot of talent and that's what pisses me off the most. If they hold on to those INTs, make better decisions in key situations, and take advantage of turnovers better, they get the "W".

Honestly, we can bitch about Rogers, but I guess it could be worst...he could be giving up passes instead of almost getting INTs.

No reason to be down in the dumps guys. We had plenty of chances and didn't take advantage of them. Not to shabby against the Colts.

We had our chances in this one. Pretty much how I thought it would go, I thought it would be a 3 point game either way.

Donovan McNabb & Jim Haslett...

McNabb just does weird stupid stuff at weird times that can make you want to pull your hair out, is completing 50-some % of his passes and is now in 6 games - 5 TDs, 5 INTs.

and Hasletts defense is good for 400 yards allowed to EVERYONE, not just the awesome Colts. At least our defensive guys will be in great shape by the end of the year with how many snaps they play every game.
How is McNabb a disapointment?? And our D can give all the yards they want as long as they don't give up points.

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread

I am listening to the post game show and Mitchell is crazy. We had a chance to win on the last drive, proir to our last drive. I dont know what more he could ask for. Our defense did what they needed to do. They lost, because the offense did not score.

I feel like this team is so close all over the place. It just isn't clicking 100%. I guess that's to be expected with basically entirely new offensive and defensive schemes plus a major overhaul on the offensive personnel side. If we can stay healthy we are a dangerous team.

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread

Weirdly enough this is the best I've felt after a loss. We were only a couple HELD interceptions to winning this bad boy. Felt nice to see Armstrong and Torain show some promise for the future.

Well his first job is to cover. If he walks they better have someone that is just as good in coverage.

He's still learning the system. It's weird but he does seem to have moments of brilliance. If he stays healthy then I think you're going to see a huge jump next year. This year though he'll probably end up with an 85 QB rating. However he's so good at throwing the ball deep that it really makes you look twice at his average QB Rating numbers. Also when you look at McNabb's numbers consider this, 2 of his INT's are on hail mary's that ended a first half.
