Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Yeah, even though I'm rooting for the Pack I can't defend that one. I feel like the NFL catching rules need to be rewritten better, because Calvin Johnson had that touchdown catch in week 1 and that was a catch as well. "Using the ground to maintain possession?" He caught it. He had control. Wth was he supposed to do? Avoid touching the ground at all costs? I'm sorry NFL refs, I feel like their judgement is not that great.
The NFL needs to do what the NHL does and institute a league review office where personnel are connected to every game, and can make snap judgement calls anytime there's a questionable call in an NFL game. And they need to have every angle available. It's sad that in this day and age tv cameras that the league doesn't have access to have better replay angles than the ones the refs look at. |

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
Singletary is toast. Nobody would have believed you if you were to say they would have only one win in the weakest division in the NFC. Favre is looking bad tonight. Guy should have hung it up. That text message crap never would have come out.

I am with you there. THe Giants are are good team, and the probable division winners, but to see Dallas take a big dive would be so priceless after all that preseason SB hype. It would be almost as beautiful as seeing all those smug elitist Univ of Mich fans after Appy State cleaned their clock!!!! |

NFL officiating has gone out of control over the last decade because the league wants more control over the outcomes. Officials are human and makes mistakes, but these controversial ruling that we see, are more about getting the right results for the right people. |

Re: NFL Regular Season Thread (Week 7)
I was wondering when the "I'm not going to come back until the last minute," would catch up with him. He still impresses me that he can still go out there and play though. I feel like the Vikings need to go back to heavy doses of Adrian Peterson with play action and Brett Farve.
