This isn't HS football and profit comes before winning. How many owners would keep a in the red Super Bowl winning team year after year. Not many unless you are making money in some other market.

I agree. The whole idea is about keeping fans in the stands by whatever means necessary. The whole McNabb, Sahnahan, and Allen ordeal was about assuring that would happen, especially when you take into consideration many of the extreme's being discussed by fans in display of their displeasure over the direction of the team. Any attempt at marketing this year's team as rebuilding would have been an economic disaster.

I think McNabb was brought in after all other attempts to get Bradford failed. Also by bringing him in it excited the fan base (money).

I also think Sahnahan and Bruce Allen were brought into to right the ship (winning team).

I don't fault DS for wanting to make the money, I am just calling a spade a spade. Money comes first in the NFL.
