Re: Portis is back, will play Sunday
Good, I didn't want to say it but Keiland Williams is no CP or even Torain.

The guys scored 3 TD's last week. One from about 40 yards out.... otherwise it would have been 59-7 with young as the only score...

That's true...guy did have decent production. Still glad that CP is back though, doesn't hurt to have more than your 3rd string RB active for a game.

Re: Portis is back, will play Sunday
CP would have fell down and taken a knee if he was making that run against the Eagles. He's not the same speedster he was in 2005. Depreciation has set in for Clinton Portis.

He may only be 29, but Portis is way past his prime due to the serious amount of injuries he's had to endure, and the fact that Joe Gibbs basically ran him into the ground. He is a definate asset to pass protection blocking. That is is only value for this team in 2010. His speed is gone, he is not an every down back anymore, and now, he is injury prone. I would think if they want to keep him healthy for the remainder of the season, he takes a minimal role, and is used situationally.
