Re: Richard Seymour gets tossed for slap

I have zero problems with Seymour getting booted. He was scuffling with someone earlier in the game too, so you have to guess he already had his warning. Plus you just can't go to the head on a guy, especially a QB.

I agree with this. The only thing I can add is the first time I saw it, I laughed, and had very little sympathy for Big Ben.

Do QBs really deserve the special consideration that they are getting right now? I totally agree with making sure they don't go helmet to helmet on them or hit em low, but in the Eagles Colts game either Cole or Parker grazed Mannings head with his hand and a 15 yard penalty was called, then yesterday someone was called for landing on the QB with all of his weight? What is that? Your telling a defensive player they have to tackle the QB then roll in midair and let them land on you?

I agree with these new rules on hitting to try to extend players careers and their health after their careers are over but sometimes with QBs they want other players to basically play touch football. Its also why I am against an 18 game schedule.

They can land on the QB its driving them into the ground that they flag.

I thought the helmet ripping incident by Babin (****ing punk) on Lichtensteiger was worse. I'm sure he'll get fined.
