I have my money on Illinois, although I think this is going to be one of the better title games in a long time. NC is a very physcial, in your face type of team. Illinois has that three-gaurd fast paced team, with a couple of great forwards. I'm going w/ Illinois, but I really dont know. ITs going to be a great game.

I'm rooting for Illinois because of the combination of it being someone new, the Univ. of Illinois has never won a NCAA men's championship in it's 100 years of playing, and I really really dislike NC. In the end I don't really care too much cuz I'm more than likely not going to watch any of it, lol.

I'm rootin for Carolina, if they win I take home the top prize in my office pool. But honestly I don't know, it's a complete tossup to me.

Sean May is hard to stop when he's hot, so if Carolina can get him going that will give them an advantage.

Deron Williams is an amazing defender though and I think he's absolutely going to SHUT DOWN Raymond Felton. Plus, Illinois just never turns the ball over because of their 3 ball-handlers. Carolina likes to run and gun and get points off turnovers on fast breaks. I don't think Illinois will let that happen. Carolina's going to have to do it the old-fashioned way, banging it into Sean May.

At least this year it has a little bit of buzz to it. Last years title game just felt crappy, no offense to GT; but it was just boring. This is the first time the #1/#2 overall teams in the nation will meet for the title since 99'; so it should be alot of fun.

As a Duke fan, I would normally go with the ACC team here - even though it's the Tarheels. However, I love the "Roy Williams can't win the big one" storyline, and don't want it to end.

Illinois by 6.

UNC! Both of my kids and all of my grandbabies live in NC! My son-in-law wants all three girls to attend Chapel Hill! I've tried to convince him, UNC Wilmington seems nice too! Oh, and I hate Dook!

schneed10, nobody on ill. can SHUTDOWN raymond felton. you better believe that.deron williams might slow felton down a bit but he won't absolutely, shut him down the way you say.

Maybe, but I doubt it...many people on this board (myself included) couldn't care less about the Terps
