Mike wants players that produce on the field, Donovan wasn't producing therefor he was benched twice. I like 5 and always have but he was very poor in about 10 games this season.. Maybe Kyle just can't get along with him idk but I did find it a little odd that Rex got more screens and short passes last week.

Perhaps DM5 just was not in condition for short passes and screens?

Or because he seems to bounce those balls to the WRs.

That's because they had to neutralize the Cowboys rush up the middle. It is what it is. There's no conspiracy against McNabb. Donovan is way too laid back to play in this offense. Let's move on.

Shanahan the PR guy and GM deserve marks of "needs improvement".

Some fans should realize that the younger Shanahan is less patient than them.

You got your facts wrong. Donovan volunteered to run the scout team. McNabb was not told to run the scout team by either Shannahan.

Memo to Donovan. Having your agent do the dirty work so you can still call yourself "professional" is bullsh*t. If you want to take the high-ground then you take it. You don't travel it and send your friends and family the other way. Pathetic...you sucked this year and Shanny sat you. You got what you earned. This organization didn't owe you some magical level of respect for deeds that you did for another team. The Eagles sh*t on your head and you said nothing and neither did your agent. THEY owed you respect for what you did for them. You haven't done crap for the Redskins so don't fool yourself into thinking you have earned one iota of respect from the team or fans. You got your ass outplayed by Rex f'ing Grossman. Get over your diva ass and don' let the door hit ya on the way out.

DM is a politician....I don't think Shanny gives a damn...I like that.
It's a shame DM's play could not match his..........rhetoric.

They all are. Shanahan knows how to play the game just as well. Seriously, who believes the fluff that he isn't going to make McNabb run the scout team? Of course McNabb will be doing that.

Seriously, if this was the first time he had come out and said something about the coaching staff I could have understood but this is at least the second time McNabb's agent has come out and complained. However if I'm not mistaken the Kyle Shanahan outburst might be his third public tirade.

The agent works for McNabb and if McNabb is really trying to take the high road then he should put the muzzle on his agent.

Never would have thought a guy named Fletcher could do something like this.

Well..I think Shanny would like to get a....do-over on the McNabb trade. He alluded to as much in his post game presser (I think). That ones on him, no doubt. But to his credit, he did not shy away for the responsibility of the deal.
Who knows, maybe as a stop gap measure the Rex thing can be made to work until a francise guy can be had.

All along i wanted to keep JC for a year or two on the roster and draft younger players. So we could've have the pieces in place for 2011 or 2012 franchise QB. I like McNabb and hoped he would help but we could've used those draft picks on OL or other holes. Waters under the bridge i guess but they need to use Grossman the same way then.
