So say they got an illegal hit on the QB and got fined...would the fine be $25000 or whatever crazy number? Thus putting them in debit for their week of work.

Yeah - "only" $5200 a week is about $270,000 per year for 52 weeks -- However, since they only work about 17-18 weeks -- it's $90k. Not sure if that includes 4 weeks of preseason, etc.
