Actually, he had some short passes tossed to him this year, but he dropped them or he wasn't in position. If he actually made those catches instead of missing them, his YPC would be even higher.

You're assuming that he would've turned those catches into nearly 20 yard gains

if not, it would lower the YPC

That was the point of Matty and I. He needs to become a more complete receiver.
